Future Senedd Committee

1.       Committee members considered a paper on the organisation of committee business and shared a range of views on this. The Committee suggested that further thought should be given to the following themes:

§  Time allocations for committee business;

§  Concurrent meetings of plenary and committees;

§  Committee effectiveness to include greater scrutiny and the legislative process.

2.      Committee members noted the receipt of correspondence from the Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee, which relates to the work on Standing Order thresholds. This will be considered at the next meeting, alongside a paper on this part of the Committee’s remit.
